The spin-exotic hybrid meson ๐1โก(1600) is predicted to have a large decay rate to the ๐โข๐โข๐ final state. Using 76.6โโpbโ1 of data collected with the GlueX detector, we measure the cross sections for the reactions ๐พโข๐โ๐โข๐+โข๐โโข๐, ๐พโข๐โ๐โข๐0โข๐0โข๐, and ๐พโข๐ โ๐โข๐โโข๐0โขฮ++ in the range ๐ธ๐พ=8โ10โโGeV. Using isospin conservation, we set the first upper limits on the photoproduction cross sections of the ๐01โก(1600) and ๐โ1โก(1600). We combine these limits with lattice calculations of decay widths and find that photoproduction of ๐โฒโข๐ is the most sensitive two-body system to search for the ๐1โก(1600).
